The "rest of the country" won't be the ones who would patronize the establishment and keep her in business... She's ruined in Lexington....
She made a huge mistake and will have to live with the consequences. Which have already begun....

I guess we'll see....Normally I would hate to see anyone go out of business, especially a restaurant...but in this case, the way she "handled" the situation, I won't be sad if she has to "relocate"...lol

I would never support anyone who drove from their home to their business, just to kick out an individual After their reservation had been accepted, they had been seated, their appetizer served and the entree ordered. That's insane.
She shouldn't be in business if she couldn't "resolve" whatever issues her employees were having in a more acceptable and professional way....She doesn't deserve to own a business where you have to deal with people , all people, on a daily basis...

My guess: She is not ruined.

Fact is, the publicity she has gotten may make her business prosper even more.

But no matter what happens...I'm kinda happy she stood with her employees who wanted not to serve Joseph Goebbels.

I believe the area her restaurant is in is a blue district, she is known in her community from what I have read as a woman of principles. She publishes a periodical for/about children. I agree with you, she is not ruined.

Ok...Yes, the publicity has really made her business prosper so far, hasn't it?...and improved her personal standing in the community by leaps and bounds, so you're "probably right"...;)
I hope she's paying her employees for all these days they aren't working....

It has been obvious for a long time that the American right does not know how to lose with grace, dignity, and/or class.

Now I am seeing that the American right does not even know how to win with grace, dignity or class.

Most likely reason: The people who comprise "the American right"...have no grace or dignity or class.

We don’t know that either at this point, there is no news on her business. The press has already moved on, much breaking news. We don’t even know if she’s reopened or if her employees have been compensated.

I really doubt she's the "American Right", but if you say so, she really does not know how to deal with problems with grace, dignity, and /or class...or Mrs. Sanders and her party would have been able to finish the meal that they started. As they should have been allowed to do. Simple.
