I've always suspected that Toxic put him up to trying to get me and/or Mason to post links to the group again. The next time the subject comes up you might reply with something like, "I am sorry that you took offense."

I didn't personalize that remark because I understood the point you were making, even if it was hyperbolic.

It isn't easy, but sometimes I call out the veterans I consider blowhards. The ones who make gratuitous statements about their military service when it has no direct bearing in the conversation. My father's generation was more humble.

And, in my experience, a lot of veterans are liars who, at best, have embellished and embroidered their real service.

In fact a poster here was still a member when I left.They might be posting on the threads,I restored before I left,as we speak.
