Record high of U.S. saying we are Heading in Right Direction

the vast majority of those polls are before he was even in office over a span of weeks. since being in it's just been up and up for him. From 22 to 29 to 47.

Secondly take a look at the sample column. You see how most say "A" and some say "RV" and then the one at the top says "LV? those are 3 distinct samples, with "A" being polls of all americans, "RV" being registered voters, and "LV" being likely voters. Polls of all americans skew very liberal and polls of registered voters skew a bit liberal. (with regards to painting a picture of the electoral landscape) the reason for this is because there are a lot of poor liberals that can't get time off from work, live in urbanized areas with fewer polling places, etc. Polls of Americans in particular matter almost dick (electorally speaking) given half of America doesn't even vote. In any case, this is part of the reason why we have such a large spread among the sampled polls at realclearpolitics. THe methodology is different and they all tell different stories. Some polls are talking about American opinion (that wont amount to much), and other polls are talking about the electoral landscape. These are very different things.

I'm aware of the difference between "A", "RV" and "LV", dopey. I guess you didn't look at all the pollsters on the chart and notice that these also used "LV" in their polling: Economist/YouGov, McClatchy/Marist, USA Today/Suffolk, Associated Press-GfK, Bloomberg, Reuters/Ipsos and GWU/Battleground.

Rasmussen is always an outlier and I always take their numbers with a large grain of salt.

i love how at the beggining the narrative was that Trump was not fulfilling his promises and now its trump is actually fulfilling his promises. lololol.

I love how trump said he was going to drain the swamp. When's that going to happen?

id imagine he was going to kill the jews no matter what.

Only if he could get away with it - he'd have been just as happy if they'd all gone and set up Hitlerism in Palestine. It is like Trump with democracy - ok for Mexicans.

even economist has it at +6 from last time they did it. NBC the last time they bothered to do it had 37. Looking at the last year or two the highest Obama had was 35.

There is some discrepancy in the poll numbers. Seems to be the usual case when Trump is involved lol.

I would go with the high numbers since I can't imagine why anyone who voted for Trump would be disappointed at this point.

I supported him since late in the primaries and voted for him in the general. Though I still had some reservations about how he would do once [and if, lol] he was elected. He never held office before; he shoots from the hip a lot etc.

But so far I'm pretty happy with him. He clearly approaches the job as a private sector person would---his 'get her done' attitude is refreshing. His picks have been excellent for the most part.

One of the reasons I voted for Trump was because I saw the potential in him to be an exceptional leader when the country desperately needed one.

He could still bomb on that, but so far he's on course. Definitely vote for him again.
