Catherine Ariemma, a history teacher at Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega, Ga., was placed on administrative leave Monday after she allowed four students to wear Ku Klux Klan outfits in a historical reenactment. The Lumpkin County Schools superintendent Dewey Moye told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the teacher "used extremely poor judgment."
Ms. Ariemma reportedly teaches an advanced placement history class. According to the AJC, her students were filming reenactments of various historical periods and four wore KKK outfits. The incident sparked outrage after students from other classrooms saw them as they walked down a hallway. The parents of an African American student at the school complained.
There is absolutely no excuse for anyone using such poor judgment. This is so disturbing and on so many levels. She should have known that allowing the students to dress in KKK garb would spark outrage. She should be fired for being so dumb.

The fact is they chose some cut off on some test and those below that were scheduled for the class. They were all black. SO they called african american lunch bunch.
Your argument must then be that it's wrong to make any test score the score for inclusion in a remedial class, if that score disproportionately qualifies minorities. therefore it must be raised to be more racially inclusive, thus, a group cannot be created to give real problem students the help they need. Nope. My position has not changed. I said his motivation did not appear to be racist, but that the action was, in effect, racist.
I have not been able to determine that. But, it does not change much because ONLY the failing black kids were included. If passing black kids were not included, then at least they did not waste their time.

ONLY and ALL are the two tests of a strict categorization method, but the use of either indicates an attempt to categorize. For instance, if ONLY the failing white kids are held back due to poor grades, but not ALL of the white kids are held back, while ALL of the black kids pass, regardless of performance, then obviously there is discrimination based on race. Sure, there may be a secondary method of discrimination, failing grades, in deciding what white kids to hold back, but that does not erase the race discrimination. The grades are obviously secondary since they were not applied to the black kids.
I am sure you will now claim that this actually happens or some bullshit.
