They don't want to go there with that. It's not just a Catholic thing. I know plenty of non-religious surgical people that will have nothing to do with abortions. There's a reason most abortions are done in clinics: most healthcare workers want nothing to do with it.

And there's a reason most OB/GYN's don't do abortions. On occasion it has to do with religion.

This, in spite of the fact the Islamists provide no end of thread material from which to do so [stoning women for adultry, throwing gays off buildings and worse].

It's a sick sort of cowardice when fear of being labeled an Islamophobe prevents people from even commenting on barbarianism on a debate board.

But that attitude prevails throughout much of the West. And we see how that is going.
