Listening to Trump, it can sometimes feel like the war in the Ukraine is ambiguous in terms of which "side" to take.

It's not. Putin is a mass murderer. He invaded a sovereign, independent nation for no other reason than the old fashioned "land grab" that we've seen from many tyrants in history. Many have died because of this. Many more are refugees. Thousands of children have been abducted. The suffering this one person has caused is incomprehensible.

And yes - that's the same guy who our President said "Putin went through a hell of a lot with me" about yesterday. Like they're frat brothers.

The rest of the world understands this, which is why we're getting mainly condemnation and ridicule from free nations & their leaders for what happened yesterday.

This isn't a tough one. It's low-hanging fruit from the perspective of morality, and a basic sense of right & wrong. The America that we've known for decades would have stood with the Ukraine, and against Putin's aggression. I have no doubt Reagan would have, and many Republicans since that time.

But the GOP is different today.

There is no overlap here for us even to debate. Either you believe that Putin is the good guy in this story, or you believe he is a terrible person. Either you believe America, for all its faults, is basically a good country, or you believe we are worse than Nazis.

Your side has called President Trump a Nazi…Hitler.

Have you no shame, Walter?

trump may base his speeches on the only political book anyone has ever seen him read, Hitler's speeches, but he would have to work much, much harder to be Hitler. trump does not have it in him.

The reasom…you are all loons,..Walter.

At least half of Ukrainians are pro-Russian. They elected a pro-Russian president.
Then the USA fomented a coup.

Estimates are Ukraine has lost a million young soldiers . Trump wants to stop the killing. Trump is trying to save Ukraine. Zelensky is UNDERSTANDABLY pissed at Putin. Zelensky is letting his anger get in the way of what is best for Ukraine. Putin has proven he is happy to continue cranking the meat grind for as long as it takes. It is better that Ukraine come away with 80% of its land than the future of its youth lost.

Correct Ukraine lost and anyone with a lick of sense knows they were never going to win. When Zelensky is dead on the battle field I will have a tiny bit of respect for him but we all know that's not going to happen. Just another delusional tyrant.
