Ray Lewis Blasts Black Lives Matter Over Silence On Black-On-Black Crime

Can't blame white people for it.
Yes, Ray has a valid point but for them to admit it would be to expose the liberal sham.

BLM is a valid and generally respected organization. I question any apparent motives to somehow discredit them.

Seems, like with guns, deaths only matter for some people if it helps their political agenda.

Those who make their lively hood on skimming tax dollars are quick to seize upon opportunity. When it was just some people frustrated with crime there was a real sense that all this violence in the black community fed off itself and somehow the cycle needed to be broken.
But the opportunist vulchers were on it and coopted it vc with a catchy name.
Oddly not unlike occupy wall street.

Because they're not a valid organization?

What's not legit about this???...

black lives matters is not the same as only black lives matter

that response shows contempt of what the black community is trying to tell their fellow Americans

Its a completely UNINFORMED response

I think it's 2 separate issues. People who say that "Black Lives Matter" should also be concerned about black-on-black crime are thinking about it in a pretty linear way. I'm sure they care about black-on-black crime.

The movement came about due to incidents where it was felt that police were specifically targeting blacks, and clearly was pent up anger over years of that kind of discrimination that many blacks - particularly those in the inner city - felt.

It's really the equivalent of saying that pro-life people should be trying to end war, or the death penalty. The pro-life movement is a specific response to abortion.

I am serious. What is your solution to less black on black crime? Is the root cause of black on black crime the same as for white on white crime?

Nothing you haven't heard before. Education and welfare reform. You can look at the fall in violence in New York for instance based on broken windows policing policies.

A little hungover this morning so not thinking clearly but those are a start.

After you've had some pain killers and coffee, do those solutions apply to white on white crime?
