Rapist Brock Turner says he's a victim

There are women who enjoy rough sex as role-play, but that's consensual. Rapists and would-be rapists are eager to justify their criminal cravings any way they can, I suppose.

It turns out that rapey boy Brock lied to his bro, rape-excuser Persky.

Judge Aaron Persky said he took Brock Turner “at his word” last week when he sentenced him on charges that he sexually assaulted a woman on campus.

Turner said he thought he was having consensual sex with the victim, even though she was unconscious when he was caught on top of her behind a dumpster.

Judge Persky also seemed to believe the larger narrative Turner put forward during that trial: A 19-year-old freshman from small-town Ohio, naive about drinking and partying, looked to his teammates for guidance in a wild new social realm and made one quick bad decision.

But 471 pages of documents released by the Santa Clara County Superior Court show Turner lied about never using drugs and not drinking before college.

They depict Turner as not simply making a bad choice, but having a penchant of making aggressive, unwanted advances on women; at the frat party where he met the victim, he kept forcing kisses on the victim’s younger sister as she “wiggled out of his hold.”

At a party a week before, he “creeped out” a woman he tried to grab.

What consent can an unconsciousness person give?

I suspect that many JPP M E N will say that she shouldn't have gotten drunk and passed out and was "asking for it".

Court documents released Friday suggested that Brock Turner had familiarity in high school with alcohol and marijuana.

In photos and phone messages, Turner appears to be holding a pipe for smoking marijuana, as well as talking about drinking and buying drugs.

In a June 2014 exchange, after he was asked “Did you rage last night?” Turner replied he had spent an hour and a half drinking, documents show. Messages extracted from his cellphone include repeated exchanges from that year, when Turner was in high school, about buying and using drugs, including marijuana.

Those words and images contrasted with the message Turner gave last week at his sentencing.

“Coming from a small town in Ohio, I had never really experienced celebrating or partying that involved alcohol,” Turner told Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky.

Brock Turner is not the victim. He made a horrible mistake that is for certain and he will have many years of opportunity to right his wrongs, but he is most certainly not the victim and I hope one day he acknowledges that fact and makes amends the best he can.

It completely baffles me why someone like that would do something so crazy. He is well off, good looking and a swimming champ, surely he can't be wanting for female attention? Word to the wise, I hope you have those two dicks Leon Troll and Legion Troll on ignore, it's the best advice anyone on here will ever give you.

The slimy Limey neglects to include the minor detail that he was put on forced ignore by the moderators because of his creepy obsession with me.

Two other women who attended a fraternity party a week before the assault told a detective that Turner followed them to where they were dancing. He was "grabby" with one of the women, put his hat on her, starting dancing behind her and turned her around to face him.

“She felt uncomfortable and tried to turn her body away so that he would not be directly ‘behind’ her,” according to prosecutors.

Turner became touchy and put his hands on her stomach, waist and upper thighs.

“She said the defendant ‘creeped’ her out because of his persistence,” prosecutors said in the court documents.

The morning of the assault and Turner’s arrest, investigators found a text message in a “Group Me” application on his cellphone that said “Who’s [breasts] are those?”

Later, detectives sent his phone to a crime lab to try to retrieve the message and any attached photos. But they could not because they were deleted, apparently by a third party, according to prosecutors.

Text messages also showed that that in Ohio and at Stanford, Turner had used LSD and MDMA -- one time in combination, known as a “candy flipping,” according to prosecutors. He smoked marijuana and dabs of butane hash oil, known as “wax.”

“Do you think I could buy some wax so we could do some dabs?” he texted to a friend in 2014.

That year he was also arrested for underage drinking.

Turner’s father said his son should not pay such a steep price "for 20 minutes of action.”

So turner was not the poor innocent babe in the woods he and his family portrayed him to be at his sentencing.
Mark my words . He will rape again and he will go away for a long time.

How come the judge didn't familiarize himself with the facts before he let rapey boy off with a slap on the wrist?

Campaign to remove judge in Stanford rape case gains steam

Published June 11, 2016 Associated Press

SAN FRANCISCO – A fledgling campaign to recall the judge who sentenced a former Stanford University swimmer to six months in jail for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman gained momentum Friday as three prominent political consultants joined the effort.

The Recall Judge Aaron Persky campaign said media consultant Joe Trippi, campaign strategist John Shallman and pollster Paul Maslin would help secure the signatures and votes required to remove the Santa Clara County jurist from the bench next year.

Trippi has worked for a number of Democratic presidential candidates, while Maslin's clients include Gov. Jerry Brown and members of Congress. Shallman has worked for the president of the California Senate, who spearheaded passage of a law requiring colleges and universities to apply a "yes means yes" standard in sexual misconduct cases.

Persky was re-elected in an unopposed election Tuesday, five days after sentencing Brock Turner, 20, to six months in jail and three years' probation. The punishment for the Dayton, Ohio, native ignited intense outcry as too lenient.

Prosecutors had argued for Turner to spend six years in prison for three felony convictions that could have sent him away for 14 years.

The judge said in court last week that he followed a recommendation from the county's probation department and cited Turner's clean criminal record and the effect the conviction will have on his life.

"I have daughters in college myself, and I find it deeply disturbing that a judge like Persky could let a campus predator like Turner off with barely a slap on the wrist," Shallman said. "Justice is supposed to be blind —not stupid."

A court spokesman has said Persky is barred from commenting because Turner is appealing his convictions of felony assault and attempted rape.

Cold comfort for the rape victim.

The judge's glaring dereliction of duty is an encouragement to rapists and would-be rapists everywhere.

If he loses his appeal the original sentence stands.

He could appeal his conviction or his sentence, but most likely would challenge the conviction. If the conviction is reversed then the sentence would be vacated. Regardless of what happens, the sentence won’t get more severe.
