It doesn't get any clearer than this, this is classic blaming the victim from start to finish; from "teasing" to dress, posture, looks and so on. This is what blaming the victim looks like! This is it! Incredible but it was bound to come out sooner or later!

The two things are not remotely connected...unless you hate or disrespect women. The idea that you should be able to force a woman to give birth is no different than forcing her to have sex.

So basically, you think it's ok to FORCE women to do things against their will and that are direct infringements on their rights.

You can spout out all the morality you please,

But when you dress a certain way, you get certain attentions.
When you act a certain way, you attract certain attentions.
When you willingly throw caution into the wind and put your wellbeing into others hand's sometimes bad things happen.

Of course it doesn't excuse the crime. But if you didn't do everything you could to prevent it, or at least take reasonable precautions; obvious precautions, then you are part of the problem. What if instead of a terrifying night, it was an oil rig? What if safety precautions were left unmet, and a pipeline busted, spilling tons of oil into the ocean? What if? Would you not blame the one's responsible for the safety of that rig? Is that rig, your body, not worth protecting, or is 'having a fun, relaxing night' worth the risk?

What a load of rationalization and bullshit

Thousands of women are accosted just while walking in parks or parking lots. Coats on, carrying groceries, walking the dog. I guess they shouldnt be out shopping alone, or jogging. Maybe they should have a gun out, in their hands so that they can "do everything to prevent" being raped. Maybe they need an adult male with them everywhere they go?

Yeah, and every guy that's mugged...it's his fault too...for walking out in public. He should pay for a guard. Same with the little kid crossing the street in the crosswalk...he should have just stayed home....most people dont get hit by cars in their living rooms (some do, but not usually).

Rape is an act of violence, not sex. Men can control their sexual urges, millions do every day in the face of all sorts of women's fashions and actions. Are you claiming men are too weak to do so?

I didn't say the average would. But, I think the average guy, under the appropriate circumstances, would. a little social lubrication and a little pressure and most people crack.
