Right. You basically have to claim to be a Christian, and almost certainly a Protestant to win congressional office in the Republican Party. The allow a small handful of Jews to get elected.

Nimrata Haley and Piyush Jindal almost certainly ditched their family's religions and traditions to be deemed acceptable to Southern White Anglo-Saxon culture.

Agreed but they’re in the minority- for now.
I do wish we’d budget for that war rather than tack it on to an already agreed to budget. That really irks some of them. Then those republicans might not be as against helping the Ukes.
