As I asked in another thread, "How does one twist the intent of the Constitution to mean that even if America can feed the hungry and house the homeless and look after the ill the Founding Fathers would have preferred they suffer and die?

They didn't prefer people suffer and die, they preferred people have the liberty and freedom they never had under England, where they were ruled by a central government.

So what are you implying? The Founding Fathers wanted the people to have the liberty and freedom to not help the less fortunate?

When it came to taxes the money the settlers required was being drained from the economy and sent back to England, the very opposite of helping those less fortunate.
