Raise the age might have bought these kids 4 years, and given the community 4 more years to do something about this kid.
But you are correct, raising the age would do little, we need to ban assault rifles like we banned machine guns.

Machine guns aren't banned. You can obtain one at great cost with a proper permit. Why don't leftist fools do some basic research before they bloviate. These aren't assault weapons either. That's a false strawman claim.

I was hunting with a 410 single barrel shotgun at the age of 12...a 12 gauge at 16.
