Raise the age might have bought these kids 4 years, and given the community 4 more years to do something about this kid.
But you are correct, raising the age would do little, we need to ban assault rifles like we banned machine guns.
If this shooter had shot at people but not killed anyone...he would have been given 12 years and out in 4 just to do it again until he killed someone

Yeah well, it needs to go back to the way it was. Countless lives could be saved and people with problems could have a nice, safe place to live and not just be thrown in with criminals.
They'd actually get help from someone that knows their situation.
They could have Tapioca pudding in the afternoon and watch a movie vs. Standing on a street corner needing a bath and starving and screaming at passersby.
The America I grew up in had that. We didn't treat people with mental problems as poorly as is done now.

I disagree. The human brain is much more developed at 21 than it is at 18.
