Radial Left upset that new Speaker isn't rich and corrupt

Yep, you read that correctly. The radical Left in Journalism is upset that the new Speaker isn't a rich, corrupt oligarch...

Does New Speaker of the House Mike Johnson Have a Bank Account?
Does New Speaker of the House Mike Johnson Have a Bank Account?

Over the course of seven years, Johnson has never reported a checking or savings account in his name, nor in the name of his wife or any of his children, disclosures show. In fact, he doesn’t appear to have money stashed in any investments, with his latest filing—covering 2022—showing no assets whatsoever.

Of course, it’s unlikely Johnson doesn’t actually have a bank account. What’s more likely is Johnson lives paycheck to paycheck—so much so that he doesn’t have enough money in his bank account to trigger the checking account disclosure rules for members of Congress...

Jordan Libowitz, communications director for watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, offered a more blunt assessment, saying that if Johnson truly doesn’t have any assets, it “raises questions about his personal financial wellbeing.”

So, we have Speaker that lives like most middle-class schmucks with a mortgage, a checking account, making enough to pay the bills and not a lot more. Seems to me that's the sort we need more of in Dirty City, not fewer. But not on the Left. On the Left they want more of the dirty, corrupt, oligarch types like Pelosi, Waters, or Biden. Hell, they should be cheering Trump on in this political category...

Oh it burns their asses so bad! In before 20 year old allegations of rape.

And Joe Biden isn't taking payola and bribes through a money laundering scheme...

Johnson is putting a lot of effort into making sure no one knows how money comes and goes with him.

The evidence against Biden keeps falling apart. The evidence for or against Johnson is severely hidden by Johnson. I wonder why.

Almost Never Right Walt says.

Maybe even you might attempt to learn, to get better, this is actually not unheard of with The Better People.

Just to recap, Johnson has moved heaven and earth to have no paper trail for whatever he is doing. Can you imagine how difficult it is to make $400k a year, and not have a bank account. I wonder where the money is ending up. I wonder what extra money is coming to him.

Yes we know you are a partisan.

He has a bank account he just doesn't have enough money to trigger the minimum required to report the accounts. He has four kids in his home and at one of them is in college. 400K doesn't really go that far these days.

I don't care if the new speakers has a few bucks or not.
I'm just upset that people like him are alive.
He's repugnant.

That's pretty silly, lol.

$400k is still 400 times $1k, and always will be. Or put another way, if he has a bank account, and is depositing his paycheck into it, he is going over the $1k reporting threshold. For him to keep his supposed bank account below $1k, he must be taking his paycheck to a check cashing place, and converting it immediately into cash.

There is no way to rehash this all so that it is not an insanely difficult way to hide his finances.

An interesting point in this is that Bagman (Hunter) received $400 k. That was then forwarded through several more accounts with Joke ending up with $40 k or... wait for it... 10% for "The Big Guy..." Kind of convenient hum?

Not upset. Just amazed that a traitor who wants a total abortion ban, believes gay marriage will lead to people marrying their pets, and believes homosexuality was the downfall of the Roman Empire is the unanimous choice of Republicans to run the House.
