I've been right about everything. I called this as media bullshit from the beginning, the media lied about trayvons appearance, using a picture of him when he was 12. You guys got fooled about the spliced audio that got the NBC producer fired. You guys kept saying "oh he has no injuries, look at the camera in the police station... no blood!" Then it was shown he was bleeding all over, so you mitigated that by saying it wasn't that bad. You were likely wrong about who started the fight (THE FIGHT), with witnesses corroborating zimmerman being beaten the shit out of. You guys overcharged him because of politics and because you didn't want egg on your faces. Now you've staked out your positions unflinchingly.

Last year I saw idiot after idiot acting as if they knew any of the facts of the case, while being wrong time and time again. They said it with absolute conviction. now that I do it, everyone fucking hates it (and I made actual threads about me doing this on purpose, so I am not saying this retroactively... go look them up). The silver lining though as after getting brute forced by me all the false fact speculators started dying down. Maybe this will teach you idiots in the future to actually let the facts come out before jumping to conclusions.

You don't care that the Police and DA let Zimmerman walked based on the "Stand your ground" statute when they have no place to do so. According to the law of Florida only a magistrate can do that. No, that's not the main issue, that might be an issue for you, but believe it or not, self defense is a valid defense, whether you like it or not. And stand your ground is a real law, whether you like it or not. And sometimes, when people commit justifiable homicide they are not charged with a crime, because there is no crime, or because the state knows it can't meet its burden, which is what they are now finding out. You dont charge everyone with a crime that shoots someone else.

Yes Grind, that is the issue. That's why millions of people were outraged. You're argument is childish. Certainly self defense is a valid defense. In Florida so is "Stand your ground' but it isn't the police or DA's place to let a person who just took another human beings life walk scott free with no consequences because they have a valid defense. Having a valid defense does not mean that one is either guilty or innocent and it's painfully obvious that YOU JUST DON'T GET THAT! LOL

You know, I have not changed my attitude, nor the things that I have said about the zimmerman case, for over a year now, but I sure do notice a definitive increase in hostilities and ire directed at me. It seems the closer and closer we get to zimmermans inevitable acquittal, and the more we are seeing the prosecutions case fall apart like wet tissue paper with the States own witnesses backing up zimmerman, team trayvon is realizing how wrong they were --- and MAN DO THEY HATE IT. they basically are, they just waived the formal immunity hearing, probably not wanting to kill their really good defense at trial. The jury will be instructed that someone doesn't have a duty to retreat.

A Zimmerman witness who had previously stated he saw Martin hitting Zimmerman admitted on the stand he never ACTUALLY SAW Martin hitting Zimmerman.

Trayvon did not deserve to die. Zimmerman, at best, followed him and provoked some sort of defensive response.

The Zimmerman supporters seem to think Trayvon had no right to stand his ground. Since he was a scary black male he is expected to retreat.

Zimmerman's actions were stupid and he alone created a deadly situation. The "armed with a sidewalk" claim would be laughable if it were not intended to be serious. Zimmerman is at least guilty of manslaughter. If the jury is instructed to consider that charge, it's unlikely he will not go to prison.

Justice is when the state can't meet their burden, you don't convict them, and if you have a particularly weak case, you don't charge them. There is no evidence that trayvon was put in a situation to stand his ground. You dont have the right to take a swing at somebody if they are walking on a public walkway. Nothing zimmerman did, even if we were to agree that he followed trayvon, is illegal.

Who cares? That's the prosecutions problem. Zimmerman is facing a jury of his peers for his actions in taking a human life. He will be judged based upon the facts of the case and either way, innocent or guilty, justice will have been served. I am pleased.

If zimmerman believed he had a reasonable fear of great bodily injury (you know, like getting your head bashed in) he has a right to self defense, even if he follow trayvon, even if he asked trayvon what was up, even if he said "what the fuck are you doing here you asshole" even if he grabbed travyon but then made an effort to retreat.

So I can follow you on the street, approach you, confront you, and if in any way your actions make me feel threatened I have the right to kill you?
