It is article 8, the right to respect for private and family life that is the favourite ruse used by shyster lawyers to prevent terrorists being expelled. We want to repeal the Human Rights Act 1997 and replace it with a specific British Bill of Rights. The ECHR was set up by the British after WW2 to determine the rights of the vast number of refugees. Like every nascent empire, it has far exceeded its original brief and needs to have its wings clipped. There is a vast difference between Human Rights and human rights, the difference has made many lawyers rich. A good example is the unelected ECHR, full of appointees who are not even justices within their own nations. The ECHR needs to be reformed, it is bloated slow and politically driven.
