Please, oh please... Liberals... DO go out there and run for 2012 on the platform of taxing the Church! I honestly believe this could be a winner for you! Sure, there are about 100 million evangelical voters out there, but I bet most of them are probably okay with this! And don't worry at all about the whole 'taxation without representation' thing, I'm confident you can figure out a way around the Constitution on this, you're all so good at that! The time has come to stand up and demand your party adopt this position! I fully support you doing just that, if there is anything I can do... write letters... call Senators... whatever, I am more than willing to help make this a reality!

whatever happened to holy folk that did it for the good of their flock and had an independent job

that and meeting at peoples homes rather than building a church or temple

that way the only time a collection would be needed is if a member of the flock was in dire need
