Question: Why are the threads of right-wingers given a bunch of stars?

blackascoal

The Force is With Me
With the exception of an RStringfield thread, all the thread stars are on posts from right-wingers .. even when they aren't about shit and even when no one is posting in them?

Why is that?

Radio Raheem: Why are there no black people on the wall. I want some black people on this wall!

:0)

Had they stopped spending their money there .. there would have been black people on that wall.

But I guess the bottom line is that the stars are meaningless because they just appear like magic.

BAC, there are stars on the conservative's threads because other conservatives rated them.

And, like most partisan efforts, they want to out score the liberals. Whether they are right or not is not nearly as important.

That was a great line in the movie. And then the guy with the Bird jersey was funny as hell too.

For a while there it looked like DNC was rating all liberal threads high. Now some right winger appears to be retaliating. I'm like... whatever...

Thank you .. that's all I was after.

Just trying to ascertain if the stars had any meaning.

Obviously not.

Think of them as "rep points" for individual threads.

In other words, they have no meaning at all.

So correct my brother.

That, and "She's Gotta Have It" were Lee's best work.

The opening montage with Rosie Perez and the lyrics of Public Enemy were cool, cool .. and I'm not a fan of rap.

Spike Lee spoke at my university when I was there. It was packed. He acted like a real arrogant s.o.b. though. That's his right i suppose. He's crying all the way to the bank about what I think of him.

Did you like School Daze? (is that the correct title?)

I always use Today's Posts to view the board.....when you do that no "stars" show up.....when we had the "threadrater" thread a while back I was scratching my head about "rating".....finally figured it out on this one.....
