Question on Taxes: Let's see how much libtards know

Of course anytime the topic of tax cuts comes up no matter what is proposed, you can hear libtards in the democrat party scream far and wide "TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH"

So let's try a little thought experiment shall we?

Let's say the only proposal on the table for tax cuts was to take the 15% bracket and lower it to 10% and we lower the 10% bracket to 5%

Will the evil, filthy rich receive a tax cut under this proposal? Yes or no?

Let's see who knows the answer

Now you know this is a tainted question, inane for that matter, but I got to see the point he is attempting to frame, it is a 5% tax cut across the board, now does that mean the upper bracket tax payer will pay less, not necessarily there are other variables

So how did I do?

Fun fact: Cryin' Chuck Schumer and Botox Pelosi were all for the tax cuts in Obama's last budget.

Obama said "cutting the rate to 28 percent was necessary for “putting the United States in line with major competitor countries and encouraging greater investment here at home.”

Schumer said in a committee hearing on cutting corporate taxes: “I’m game to do it because I think it’s really important for American competitiveness.”

Pelosi put out a press release in 2016 that called for congressional action, saying, “It is long past time for tax reform that would lower the corporate rate.”

Just talking about a straight tax cut. No other changes. Not a tainted question at all. Very straight forward.

I hate the idea of cutting taxes at any level.

You would've gotten an A had you answered like that. ;)

No.

But I'll make you the same offer Republicans make the American people: give me your income, and I'll pay 100% of the taxes, and complain about it.

they would get 100% of it......so would poor people.....

"Trickle down economics" doesn't exist. It's a derogatory term the left uses to smear tax policy. No one really believes that rich people should be the sole beneficiaries of tax cuts.

Supply side economics is what the left calls "trickle down" because it involves cutting taxes, which they stupidly see as free money for the rich.

Liberals still can't seem to explain how tax cuts that were good ideas when Obama infested the Oval Office are bad ideas now that Trump is in charge. :dunno:
