Today, in Washington State, masks have become mandatory. That is why I was able to skip most pages of this thread. For me, the issue is moot. It would be best if you got used to wearing them.

I’m in the TN at the moment but I heard that Justice mandated them in WV.
With our 93 COVID deaths. So, I guess I’ll be donning the virus catcher when I get home. I’ll wear them just like I see everyone else wearing them lol.

Well, you might die if your state becomes "no mask, no service." You might dumpster dive for your necessities. Or perhaps you are willing to pay huge fines whenever you go out in public. Masks should not be a political issue, but it is.
I note growing pressure from the right to get Trump to start advocating masks.
If Trump comes out tomorrow and urges everyone to wear masks, people on this forum would reverse their positions. You would be demanding that people wear masks, and the left would stop wearing them because of Trump.

Your best option is staying out of the way of it then.
Avoid large crowds where you’re in close proximity to other people for extended periods. Stay away from BLM protests. If it were me [I’m not you and I’m not going to tell you what to do] I wouldn’t worry too much about the store, the bank and what not. If you feel like you should wear a mask when you’re out—wear it.
I have a stretchy spandex tube mask that covers my neck and up over my nose, and of course it says "MAGA." When I go places, I keep it tucked into my belt for easy access if i need it to get into a business. I boldly go into every business with no mask, but if a human enforcer enforces a mask policy for a private business I am ready to wear it. So far, nobody has enforced a mask policy, other than a stop in the VA emergency room.
The energy source in the coat example would be the human body. The energy source in the Earth's example is the sun. We can raise the temperature of something that is creating heat by insulating it. This is all very simple. Insulation is a real thing, and it can raise temperatures when heat is applied.
I hope you are right, but many people think they do not have Covid-19, and then do. They spread it, because they do not realize they are spreading it.
Flus are caused by the influenza virus. That is a completely different virus, in a completely different family than the Coronavirus. It is like arguing that dogs are goldfish, because they both swim in water.

The WHO did not stop everyone from getting Smallpox, but merely reduced the transmission to a low enough level that it went extinct.

Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs. It can be caused by bacteria, virus, or several other possible causes. Covid-19 often causes pneumonia.
Many of the super-spreaders had no symptoms. Choirs appear to be the ultimate spreaders. Speaking (or singing) loudly in doors is a major way to spread it.

If one is showing no symptoms of Covid19, they are not sneezing or coughing it on people. No problem. No vector of dispersal. Covid19 is an airborne virus. Masks won't stop it.

Pneumonia is a bacteriological infection. It can be treated. Covid19 by itself does not kill.

Most certainly they have. Covid viruses and influenza viruses are both called 'the flu' by both the CDC and WHO, with the exception of Covid19 for some odd reason.
