Question for the left on the debt ceiling

I fail to see the substance behind the bluff, when was the last time republicans cut one of their pet programs like defense. '
I never heard the clip from biden or Obama I did hear Reagan calling the cieling breakers fuckups which I agree with.

As an aside, in the interests of resolving your ankle-biter ways, perhaps you should recognize that the way people write on here is generally conversational, not hyper-technical and with exacting precision. If we were chit-chatting at the bus stop and I said to you "The Republicans refuse to raise the debt ceiling" and you responded with "All Republicans?" I'd probably just look at you like you have a dick growing out of your forehead. Because it's a dickhead thing to say. My meaning was obvious to anyone with a smidgen of intelligence.

I did in response to the ridiculous notion that some folks (who are big fans of Reagan, mind you) have that failing to raise the debt ceiling will not have disastrous consequences. I thought maybe Saint Ronnie could convince them that they are wrong, but it didn't work out that way.

Reagan raised it 18 times , Bush raised it 8 or so

Republicans had thier fingers in thier assholes in regards to spending cuts when the actual appropriations came up. Nothing but playing chicken with the American economy.
