Question for JPP Climate Enthusiasts

I doubt if Crypiss has read the UNSCEAR report on Chernobyl. It doesn't really matter anyway as other more enlightened countries are pressing ahead with 4th generation nuclear.

https://www.unscear.org/unscear/en/chernobyl.html
I'm far from an expert on any of this but I do know we can't get rid of nukes and curb emissions
(much less zero them out) without them.

This 4th generation stuff - i gotta look at that -seen you mention it before

Yes enlightened Californian environmentalists like Michael Shellenberger have seen the light, Crypiss is beyond hope.

As for 4th generation nuclear here is a good introduction to SMRs.

Here is an article about Molten Salt Reactors (MSR).

I haven't heard anything yet from any democrat that is dumber than "Raking Forests", "Nuking Hurricanes", "Buying Greenland", "Look at my African American over here", "Cruze's father assassinated Kennedy", I always wanted a Purple Heart", I deserve the Medal Of Honor", "Mexicans Love me", "Me and Kim fell in love", "I'm smarter than any general", "If Ivanka weren't my daughter, I'd be dating her"................................

I could go on for days!

But that is enough Donald Trump stupid things he says for now!

Why are you such a dopey bastard?

The greenhouse effect that keeps the Earth's average temperature 33C warmer than it would be otherwise is due to water vapour.

It, at least, is capable given its unique ability to alter state in free atmosphere.
But CERN has demonstrated the effect of solar emmissions. Water looks to be a trailing effect, not a driver.

I suggest you read this lecture by Richard Lindzen, he explains it far better than me.

Although I haven’t discussed the greenhouse effect yet, I’m sure all of you have heard that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas and that this explains its warming effect. You should, therefore, understand that the two most important greenhouse substances by far are water vapor and clouds. Clouds are also important reflectors of sunlight.

The unit for describing energy flows is watts per square meter. The energy budget of this system involves the absorption and reemission of about 200 watts per square meter. Doubling CO2 involves a 2% perturbation to this budget. So do minor changes in clouds and other features, and such changes are common. The Earth receives about 340 watts per square meter from the sun, but about 140 watts per square meter is simply reflected back to space, by both the Earth’s surface and, more importantly, by clouds. This leaves about 200 watts per square meter that the Earth would have to emit in order to establish balance. The sun radiates in the visible portion of the radiation spectrum because its temperature is about 6000K. ‘K’ refers to Kelvins, which are simply degrees Centigrade plus 273. Zero K is the lowest possible temperature (−273◦C). Temperature determines the spectrum of the emitted radiation. If the Earth had no atmosphere at all (but for purposes of argument still was reflecting 140 watts per square meter), it would have to radiate at a temperature of about 255K (-18 C), and, at this temperature, the radiation is mostly in the infrared.

Even Poon realizes what an idiot he looks like nowadays.

Poon, this was easily foreseeable by everyone here. You will look more stupid day after day, event after event, temp increase after increase,
industry admission after admission.

So, please do persist.

Got to question a Trumpkin even mentioning deficits and debt, almost as lame as them labeling another politician a liar

Deficit spending is inevitable in a democracy, especially a two party democracy. Each side wants their stuff.
Personally I'd rather have my reduced taxes to recycle money into the economy rather than piss $trillions away on the quixotic dream of keeping the worlds weather from changing. May as well regulate and raise taxes for the purpose flushing down the gubmint money down the toilet.
Better off just giving it away to "those unwilling to work" as AOC proposes. At least it gets recirculated back into the economy.

And he claims he doesn't read HM's posts. ^ He reads them all.

Seen several clips from CNN’s seven hour Climate marathon that hardly anyone watched.

Yang wants to ban commercial air travel; Harris wants to control how much red meat you eat; Biden, playing the ‘moderate’ said “we’ve got to shut down all coal burning plants”; Mayor Pete says if you eat hamburgers you’re part of the problem.

You get the idea.

But here is my question for the Climate Enthusiasts: is there any solution to global warming that *doesn’t* involve top-down command and control socialism and/or a massive intrusion of government into people’s lives and pocket books?

The obvious answer for loons on the left and PHONY media is......NO.

I heard they were trying to out - $trillion spend each other progressively. Kinda like an auction bidding war on who can create the biggest increase in the deficit to keep the weather from changing all over the world.

Yep; anyone with an IQ above room temperature would be frightened by the stupidity displayed in that forum.

There is nobody on this board with the expertise, training, and knowledge to answer that.

Playing armchair expert on an obscure message board is an exercise in both futility and self-conceit.

Anyone on an obscure message board who claims they have the solution to global warming needs to check their ego.

On the other hand, anyone who claims addressing global warming will result in a Soviet-style command and control "massive intrusion" into people lives is parroting what they heard on Fox Noise, and that type of sloganeering telegraphs their abject ignorance on the subject matter.

The experts are going to have to come up with solutions that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase carbon sequestration, and identify and implement adaptation strategies for our infrastructure, public works, and remaining healthy ecosystems.

It is going to cost money.

But the economics also have to factor in the cost of doing nothing. What is the cost to society, to our pocketbooks, and to the environment if we do nothing and continue to relentlessly spew billions of tons of heat-trapping GHGs into the atmosphere, year after year, decade after decade, with no thought of trying to limit it?

My judgment is that a "do nothing" strategy will cost your pocketbook and your quality of life far more in the long run, than spending money on mitigation and adaptation in the short run.

I R O N Y!!!!

Not as lame as leftist morons like you who excused them for eight fucking years during Obamunism, and now, suddenly crying about them. STFU hypocrite.
