Question #2 in MA (decriminalization of pot)

I am getting a kick out of the attempts by the state to stop this law from going into effect. They created a webpage filled with exaggeration and lies about the dangers of pot. here is an example:

MYTH: Question 2 would allow for possession of only a small amount of Marijuana.

TRUTH. An ounce of Marijuana has a street value of $600 – more for the most potent forms of the drug. As commonly packaged, an ounce of marijuana will provide for about 60 individual sales. Question 2 will allow drug dealers and users to possess and travel with up to an ounce of marijuana subject only to a civil penalty of $100 – less than the fine for speeding ticket.

There math is either total bullshit or they have never delt with weed before. lol 60 individual sales out of 1 oz?

polls show it has over 70% right now.

LoL wtf? This is the biggest pile of horseshit.

An ounce of the good stuff is barely worth $600 even if you are selling it in grams.

60 individual sales? LOLZ. Most likely 4 sales in quarters. Even gramming it out at 20 or 25 doesn't equal 60 sales. These people are fucking morons.

Midgrade goes for about $75 per ounce if you got the connections and up to $150 if you don't.

Upper grade bud from Cali and Canada go for around $300-400 at wholesale price. The most you could possibly get retailing it out would be to sell 28 grams at 25 dollars per gram. But virtually no one ever does that.

sorry uscitizen i just can't take it anymore.

True, but it still will fry your brain in the long run. And the smell of it....... YUK!

What does that mean, "fry your brain"? Longterm, regular heavy pot users generally suffer some memory impairment but most casual users will not experience any ill effects. The exception to this is schizophrenics, who may become violent upon smoking pot. Typically it merely enhances whatever emotion the user is feeling at the time.
