I don't think BLM protestors are violent. Any violence associated with BLM is provocateurs who join in.

BLM simply stands up for civil rights. And you have to admit that black people get treated poorly by police.
 
BLM is fighting to force the police to respect the rights and bodies of minorities when they pull them over. They want the police to follow and recognize the constitutional rights of all people. That is the opposite of an insurrection. The Trumpy insurrectionists were trying to overthrow the governments and put a pretender back in office after he lost an election. They wanted to hang Pence and kill Dems and Reds who were insufficiently Trumpian. They were trying to stop the electoral vote certification. In short, stop congress from doing their official duty.

A few people, including me starting recently, alter people's posts. That's a little different. People certainly have different motivations and techniques for doing so.

My main usage is against repetitious idiots like Truth Detector, Into the Night and others who quote dozens of posts while posting the same crap over and over and over again. Same emojis, same bolded words.

Heck, most spend more time dressing up their post than thinking of something intelligent to say!

Obviously the "grown up" thing for me to do is to just ignore the poor hapless retards, dementia victims and the low IQ rejects....and you know that's probably not gonna happen. :)

Note that many of the same douchebags white supremacists Trump supporters claim the Insurrectionists were unarmed despite beating police with batons, flag poles and fence stanchions plus using chemical weapons.
