I have started a few in order to push back on Russiaphobia -compare that to the unending
"Putin is a KGB thug" you get from McCain and the Democrats.

But going back and bumping up dead threads is compulsive -which is why i used the Omar Khayyam quote.

I don't know that liberals hate Russia per se, as reagan's comment suggested. We are just really, really suspicious of Putin.

Man, you guys really don't know how investigations work. The "liberals" aren't holding anything. The investigation is to uncover evidence, if there is any. It's not like this started as some lefty conspiracy.

I don't know which way this will go, but there are going to be a lot of hilarious posts to revisit if it's negative for Trump.

No it didn't. This started when Hillary lost the election. You people are despicable and i'm still debating whether or not you should be allowed to walk the streets.

Were you even an adult when Reagan used the phrase "Evil Empire"? If you weren't how would you know what liberals thought, other than what you heard from Fox News? I vividly remember the press conference Reagan coined the phrase.

I do not like Putin, anymore than I liked Brezhnev. I do not like totalitarians. I do not like authoritarians. I do not like dictatorships. That's what makes me a liberal.

I believe in liberal democracy, and egalitarianism. That's what makes me reject the Reich Wing, Soviet totalitarians, religious fundamentalists, and any attempt to restrict the freedom of man in service of the powerful and wealthy.

Surprisingly, the Reich Wing seems to have forgotten about Solidarity. But after communism, the Reich Wing has always treated labor unions at public enemy number one, so perhaps this historic amnesia is deliberate!
