- Trump utterly trashed America's intelligence community overseas (adopting the standard Russian talking point). SCORE: Putin 1; Trump 0.

- Trump shifted the blame and cast doubt on whether or not Russia interfered with the 2016 election just a day prior to his meeting with Putin. 'It could have been Russia, but it could have been a lot of people. Nobody knows!' SCORE: Putin 2; Trump 0.

- Apparently Trump asked Putin (without any serious or believable conviction) if he meddled in the 2016 American election. Putin denied it, Trump said, 'OKAY!' and the issue was closed. SCORE: Putin 3; Trump 0.

- Lavrov had the stones to go in front of cameras and recount his version of the meeting, effectively calling Trump and Tillerson liars, whereas Tillerson and Trump quietly released a non-believable statement. SCORE: Putin 4; Trump 0

- So what is America getting out of this Trump/Putin marriage? Oh, right, a ceasefire in Syria and some vague cooperation on terrorism (does Trump know that Russia and America have VERY different views on what constitutes a terrorist in Syria?). Putin is the #1 cause of the refugee crisis and the wholesale slaughter both innocent Syrians and anti-Assad rebels. ISIS, if they've been injured at all, are simply collateral damage for Putin/Assad. They have never been a serious target. SCORE: Putin 5; Trump 0

America gets played, Putin gets paid. That's what happens when you have a weak-ass leader who is sympathetic to the enemy.
 
Like I said in another thread---did you REALLY expect Putin to come clean with Trump if he meddled?

After Trump voices his displeasure, what's the point in wasting more time on it in the meeting? It's like the left expects the whole world to be as upset over Trump's upset of The Hildebeast as they are.

Well, trump could, at the very least, have acted like a real man.

He only does that when he's molesting/demeaning women

They agreed on a cyber-unit (lower level groups looking into international hacking) that effect all states.
Syria is a pressing problem, see if they can cooperate on the ceasefire. It's only 1 meeting

Trump put on his little act for his Deplorables.....even had Anatta wondering if the Putin/Trump special relationship was being tested (not that anyone actually considered that bit of handwringing sincere)
