Sanctimonious-sounding sanctions....how effective are they?
Not very, as it happens, because bungling Biden carved out an exemption so you and the Euros could pay through the nose for Russian energy we could have produced domestically, and he recently killed a pipeline from Italy to Israel that would have helped the Euros become less dependent on Putin.
Neat, huh?
You see, lefties, Russia still exports lots of oil and natural gas worldwide, and reaps enormous profits by raising their prices.
And there's not a fucking thing bungling Biden can do about it, unless he triggers WWIII.
Did you know? Another demented
DEMOCRAT demagogue provoked WWII with his sanctimonious "embargoes".
But bungling Biden is unlikely to stop Putin's cash cow by force, because you proggies told him "no more blood for oil", remember?
Thus, lefties,
Y O U are financing Putin by letting bungling Biden continue to allow the world to send billions to Russia.
Did you know? The energy sector plays a central role in Russia’s economy and represents around 14 percent or so of Putin's GDP. You do know what GDP is, don't you? Contrast that with America's oil and gas industry, which under bungling Biden has seen its share of our GDP fall to around 8 percent.
Did you know? Putin sits astride an enormous treasure trove of natural resources. Russia is currently the world’s largest natural-gas exporter and one of the main global oil exporters.
Did you know? Oil and gas (that's natural gas, not gasoline, BTW) has pumped over $630 billion in foreign exchange reserves into Putin's pockets and represents more than 40 percent of Russia's federal budget.
Because the world is addicted to what Putin's pushing, it's estimated that weak, woke sanctimonious sanctions cut Russia’s GDP by only 1 percent.
But they make lefties feel better about themselves, as long as they don't trouble themselves to learn the truth, and they never do.
Here endeth the lesson, lefties.
