"UN condemns Russia’s move to annex parts of Ukraine"

UN General Assembly condemns Russia’s ‘attempted illegal annexation’ of four Ukrainan regions by a vote of 143-5.

United Nations General Assembly has voted to condemn Russia’s “attempted illegal annexation” of four partially occupied regions in Ukraine and urged countries not to recognise the move.

In Wednesday’s vote, three-quarters of the 193-member General Assembly – 143 countries – backed a resolution that also reaffirmed the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognised borders.

“It’s amazing,” Ukraine’s UN Ambassador Sergiy Kyslytsya told reporters after the vote as he stood next to US Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who said the result showed Russia could not intimidate the world.

Same as the last resolution against Russia- half the world supported Russia or abstained.

If the Palestinians valued their territory they would have stayed and fought for it back in 1948. But they all ran away like little bitches. So they gave it to Israel. The hard working Israelis then cultivated the shithole the Palestinians left into a productive country with a
superior military.

With the exception of Belarus, Moscow's closest allies in CTSO, the eastern version of NATO, withheld any direct support for the Kremlin by abstaining from the vote.

193-143 = 50

50 is not half of 193. No reasonable person would argue that it is.

The obvious is you don't understand that representatives do not represent the view of every constituent. Are you saying that 100% of India is abstaining from having an opinion on Russia's invasion of Ukraine? That seems a rather idiotic position for you to take. Either you have asked everyone in the world's opinion or you are projecting something that isn't true.
