Public backs Obama in birth control fight, poll suggests

No, but that's a fair point. I keep wondering, who the hell are these men going to have sex with???? Isn't the fact that women are free to enjoy sexual pleasure and not be shamed for it, a good thing for both of us?? I swear I think most of these men who are onto this crap are in long-term, now sexless or nearly sexless marriages and they are just pissed as all shit. And some of them just never got much to begin with I guess.

It's crazy. Just insanity!
I think you nailed it. I think it's also at the heart of why their so freakin mean!

Bull fucker nuts! Maybe if you had more boners you wouldn't be such an uptight asshole. Sex is a normal and needed aspect of life and if a vascular issue is affecting my health so that I can't enjoy normal sexual activity then I BY GOD EXPECT my insurance to cover that!!!!!

Otherwise I might have to sell off all my sheep. :(
Nice PostmoderSandusky burn!

Yes, REALLY. It is stupid fucking shit like this that causes overall health care costs to continue to skyrocket. Every time you add to the list of what EVERY plan must cover, you jack up the prices.

This is why we need to go back to individual high deductible plans for most Americans. Enough of the group plans that force everyone to have cookie cutter coverage.

Find ways to insure the low income people, fine. Find ways to insure those that cannot get coverage individually, fine. But stop trying to force everyone into the same model. It is fucking retarded.

SF, everything I have read and experienced contrast what you are saying. When Bud and I were self employed our individual policy premiums were much higher than the group plan we had participated in through Bud's employers, and it was just for major medical. Granted this was over ten years ago, but I don't think things have changed that much since then

Do you have ny stats to back up your claim?

You can take your facts and shove 'em. He's got his own personal experience and his personal experience says you're a liar.

Individual health insurance products typically cost one third to one half of group insurance. This price difference is mostly due to medical underwriting, whereby insurance companies can deny or limit coverage based on an applicant ’s health status. In a group plan they cannot deny coverage, thus the costs of those that would otherwise not be able to get coverage are spread among the group. In addition, individual and family health insurance policies often have higher deductibles, limited maternity and limited prescription drug coverage. So that obviously plays a part as well. Individual plans on average are not going to include all that has been added to the cookie cutter group plans. Each individual/family will then add to their plans what they want. That is why it is cheaper.

I can look for the studies again or just search this topic, as Mutt posted the numbers and one study within the last couple of weeks.
