Religious freedom is a Constitutional right....spelled out on the document.....
If that right is curtailed or limited by forcing on them to accept or partake in a life style or sexual practice they find is against their beliefs, that is wrong.....even if it
causes an inconvenience to the homosexual community....
This does not mean anyone can deny an lgbt person services that you would normally provide to the public in general.....in other words, baking a cake for a lgbt person is not
infringing on your religions rights.....
Like I said, it must cause him a lot of dissonance, because they don't want to allow him his rights, they want to limit his rights because of someone's religious beliefs. He seems to have been able to come to terms with it, but the party has by no means accepted gay people.
