Henry “Enrique” Tarrio, the former longtime chairman of the extremist group Proud Boys, was indicted on a new federal charge of seditious conspiracy with four top lieutenants on Monday. The charges expand the Justice Department’s allegations of organized plotting to oppose through violence the certification of President Biden’s election victory, culminating in the attack on the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump mob on Jan. 6, 2021.

I would like to know what is "extremist" about the Proud Boys? It's a meme leftist twits like to banter without any connection to facts or reality.

According to the Proud Boys Manifesto, The 10 ways are:

– “Abolish Prisons” because there are too many “human beings” in “cages.”
– “Give Everyone A Gun” because “mostly bad guys have guns, but good guys need them too. This will help prevent crime.”
– “Legalize Drugs” because “the drug war is a failure” and is only creating more prisoners.
– “End Welfare” because it has “shattered families” by incentivizing women to leave their husbands.
– “Close the Borders” because “we need to build a wall and encourage assimilation” and patriotism.
– “Outlaw Censorship” because “The West has thrived with the checks and balances open discussion provides. Without it, fascism thrives.”
– “Venerate the Housewife” because “Proud Boys are encouraged to put a ring on it and knock her up.”
– “Glorify the Entrepreneur” because they made many sacrifices and they are the ones “who got us here.”
– “Recognize the West is the Best” because “we fought hard to be #1 and we won. All other cultures are not merely different than us. They are worse.”
– “Shut down the Government” because they “rob us of our hard-earned wages” and no one else needs to be in control of another man’s freedom and destiny.

Many of these sound mainstream Democrat. So what is so radical about this group that makes them right wing with so many leftist talking points and positions?

It did not happen in Florida. Where did you get your quote, because as far as I have seen its not been tested in Florida. Other states would allow January 6 felons to be charged with Felony Murder.

FWIW, the best outcome for the War in Ukraine is for the Russians to fix it themselves by capping Putin, completely withdrawing forces and offering immigration to any Ukrainian who wants to come with them. The extraordinary part of these crimes is the sedition and treason factors. Death is to be expected in such a plot. It might take another five years, but I expect several of the militia types to end up at ADX Florence with the other terrorists.
