Protester disrupts House over Obama's birthplace

I think it was a rather good "PR Stunt" it clearly worked and ads next cycle will feature Democrats objecting to somebody reminding the Congress what the Constitution actually says.

It was simple, didn't take too danged much time, and writes campaign ads for the Republicans next cycle. And yes, if Rs objected to reading the Constitution it would be the same.

Onclear just posted an article that shows some have already missed the boat! Ahahahahahaha, I think it is hilarious!

Actually he posted it a while ago. A couple of Rs didn't swear in properly, I saw it. Apparently they should have been there at the reading.

Who would've thought that being sworn in as a member of Congress couldn't be done by being administered the oath of office over TV?

Show me a tape or clip of an elected Democrat objecting!?!?!?
They don't need "elected" people, dood. Tapes of pundits and airheads popping off on how it is a "waste" would be enough. A few interviews and their golden. It's ripe for ad airtime, and if they get hold of one of the e-mails from anybody talking it up as a "PR Stunt" and a "Waste" even better.

(b) Proof of legal residency shall be submitted to the director of health in any manner that the director shall deem appropriate. (c) The fee for each application for registration shall be established by rule adopted pursuant to chapter 91. [L 1982, c 182, §1]

Never doubt me. :)

Hawaii itself didn't even accept the short form as proof of citizenship until it changed the policy in 2009.
Yeah, the laws up until then specifically stated it wasn't evidence of that and it wasn't accepted for passport verification. It stated that no "short form or live certifications" could be used.

Nope I misread. It was a "Certificate of Live Birth" which is different than a "Certification of Live Birth" which is embossed by the registrar. A Certificate of Live Birth is sometimes issued by the hospital so you can get some other things filled out (things like health insurance and stuff), but isn't filed or embossed by a registrar and is insufficient to get a passport.

The form Obama provided would have been enough to get a Passport as it references the original documents and is embossed. However, if there is any questions the passport offices may request (and won't issue without) the original records.

When I talk to people in real life, I find I have a lot in common with most people and that is what I try to focus upon, rather than how we are different. When you actually get people to discuss the issues you find, they don't want to open the donut hole, again, they want young college graduates to be able to stay on their parents insurance until they can afford their own, they want people to be able to purchase insurance when they have pre-exisiting conditions. When you start to pin point people, we mostly agree on the issues, even the most die hard conservatives don't want to put old people out on the ice flow and let them go it on their own because their usefulness to society has dwindled. They don't want children to go hungry. On this forum it is easy to act soulless, but in reality, they aren't that heartless.

I wonder, do you really think that's what we're arguing about.....I mean, I expect liberals could be that clueless, but more likely you're just dishonest.....

and apparently liberals should have been reading the Constitution before they posted the article.....then they wouldn't have embarrassed themselves once again.....
