My current employer is an immigrant. My first break into IT came from an immigrant employer.

No way we can deport 20 million people without severe pain. It's not going to happen and anybody arguing that position is really just arguing for the status quo. Amnesty alone though is not much different as the result will be the same after some time passes. Some path to citizenship and increasing the numbers allowed to immigrate while streamlining the process is needed.

I agree. However, if the states enforce the laws, both state and federal; punish to the max the exploitive employers, many will return voluntarily. I would guess most of the Mexican illegals would go home. They come here because they are willing to work very hard, for less than the lowest qualified Americans are willing to work for. It's much higher than they can do at home. They just wish to help their situation and families. If that changed, they do not want to be here. Many have no wish to learn English, much less become legal/American.

It's frustrating when they're desired because they work for less, and hiring americans is considered NATIONALISM or RACISM.

Corporate leaders prefer servile / fear oriented people from hierarchical societies, instead of freedom oriented / quality oriented people used to speaking their minds.
 
I think there may be some crossover and confusion of the difference between illegal and legal immigrants.
 
There HAS to be a path to citizenship for those who are here and acting as decent people. Many have children which are American citizens. There could be a fee to pay for their stay. If they cant pay it then they can donate time to local city works in lue of money.

If they work and keep clear of violating the law they get to pay their fee and are put on a list to become citizens. I dont fucking care if you call it amnesty.

To round up and deport these people along with their citizen children you would have to spend MASSIVE tax dollars on immigration officials ,offices, secrataries, trucks , vehicle maintainance, health inspectors, medical and on and on and on.

People just refuse to think this one through.

IT WOULD COST BILLIONS OF DOLLARS!

Arizona passed a state law going after the employers...and Nevada is close behind...albeit a new law has not been passed...there are now fewer Illegal Mexican Immigrants working the casinos and restaurants...at least up North in Nevada...however there has been a huge increase in Legal Polish workers...thats okay, at least they came legally! And they want to become US Citizens and they also speak and write English rather well...a real plus!

I have no fear of being able to find work. I am good at what I do... And don't worry... I am sure there will always be a niche market for handjobs from a skinhead.

Exactly, the net "benefit" from throwing out the brown people would be a net economic loss of hundreds of billions of dollars.

If you're so concerned about white peoples wages, just give them money. It's chaper than throwing out the Mexicans.
