You were REQUIRED to declare your weapon and surrender it.

How in the world would you have a clue as to what was required of me by the particular Mexican customs agent that inspected my car and cleared us for entry into Mexico two plus years ago? How would you know what he asked of me? In fact, The gentleman in question required no such declarations on my part whatsoever. He approached my car when I got a red light at the random inspection point where I fully expected to have my entire vehicle extensively searched. He examined my driver's license, my passport/visa and those of my wife, my vehicle importation sticker... He looked in all the windows of the car at our luggage and our three pets, and he waved us on through the inspection stop saying only, "welcome to Mexico". I didn't make any false declaration... I didn't make ANY declaration nor were any required of me that morning in Matamoros. As I have repeatedly stated, if asked by any Mexican customs personnel if I had any firearms in my car, I would have readily admitted I had and why I felt it was necessary given the dangerous stretch of road I needed to travel on my first day in Mexico. No lies were told by me at any time during that process.

Again.... Finally... Show me the LIE you say I told. Provide proof of such a lie by linking to the post wherein I supposedly made such a knowingly false statement. Barring that, shut the fuck up. It is quite clean that you are the liar here as you continue to repeat your unsupportable libelous nonsense.

If you take weapons across the border....
•You will become on of the dozens of U.S./Foreign citizens arrested each month for violating Mexico's strict firearm and ammunition laws, whether you knew about the law or not;
•You will go to jail and your vehicle will be seized;
•You will be separated from family, friends and your job, and likely suffer substantial financial hardship;
•You will pay court costs and other fees ranging into the tens of thousands of dollars defending yourself;
•And worst of all, you may get up to a 30-year sentence in a Mexican prison if found guilty.

Remember, once you cross the border with a firearm or ammunition it is too late! Ignorance of this law will not get you leniency from the police. You will be arrested and sent to jail. Also, the Mexican judicial system is governed by Napoleonic Law which states that you are presumed guilty and must prove your innocence, the opposite of the U.S. laws.

It was your responsibility to declare said weapon and you have just admitted to being a gun smuggler, LIAR.

No - My assertion is that it was your responsibility to declare your firearm and that by doing so, it has made you a gun smuggler and your attempt to deny your behavior is what has made you a LIAR.
 
BTW I do hate Obama. Viscerally. Not because he is black or had a commie for a daddy. But, because he is destroying this country.

They hadn't heard the case yet. Why are you playing retarded? The SCOTUS isn't perfect, occasionally they do rulings like Dred Scott and ACA Support, then sometimes they get it right like "Separate But Equal isn't Equal" and therefore doesn't fit the 14th... It was still an Amendment to the constitution that changed it, not "living and breathing"....

The Constitution is only "living and breathing" in that there is an Amendment process so it is possible to change it. It isn't "living and breathing" because you want it to be changeable without an Amendment.

It is amazing how many lefties skip over this salient point. Nobody is saying that the US Constitution should NEVER be changed. However, we are saying that it shouldn't be changed on a whim and should be done so cautiously and through the due process left by the Founders.

Those who speak of a "living breathing Constitution" don't like its "negative rights" as Obummer calls them and wants it changed via 9 unelected, unaccountable judges.
