Proof that racism is dead in the USA

That's terrible.

The least they could have done, to maintain a degree of authenticity, was to capture and forcibly transport some black students from a school in the neighbouring district.

It's teachers like this who are ruining the education system.

This simply reveals how backwards the Southern states are, and how inferior they are to Northern states. Personally, I believe Lincoln should have allowed the South to leave the union. On the other hand, I consider him the greatest President for having kicked their ass.
 
Wow, isn't it amazing how Seattle conservatives view this subject?!!?

I still don't place Lincoln at the top, which goes to Washington and Monroe in my book, but he's definitely up near there. I often regret some things he did, but Lincoln possessed some of the strongest personal character of any man to have held the office, and despite my tending to side with the Radicals, he would have been an indespensable postwar president. People also tend to not notice the important domestic policies he supported which laid the foundation for the enormous industrial and commerical growth which would follow the war through the end of the century.
