Promote Christian Work Ethic over Leftist Entitlement Mentality

Americans exemplified the Christian work ethic and enjoyed unprecedented freedom, and our country eventually became the most productive and prosperous nation on earth. Average Americans came to enjoy more material wealth than citizens of any other country. The bad news is that over time Americans began to take for granted what previous generations had worked long and hard to attain. Many believed they were entitled to a certain level of material comfort without the inconvenience of working to earn it, which has become the Left's mainstay economic agenda.

The seeds of this entitlement mentality are sown by government handouts, overindulgent helicopter parents, and school systems emphasizing inclusion instead of excellence. It results in a generation of people who:

* are overly dependent on others--including the government in every area of their lives

* view the world as inherently unfair and themselves as victims. As a result they often become chronically angry, then act out their hostility in destructive ways,
such as breaking and entering. Think of the riots, looting, arson, and anarchy that have become common in America's larger cities.

* seek comfort from their self-induced failures and perceived victimhood in drugs, alcohol, and other unhealthy amusements.

* believe that the government should take care of them but do not appreciate the handouts they receive because, in their minds, they deserve them.

The Christian work ethic is one of the principal reasons America became the world's most productive, prosperous, and competitive country. But the entitlement
mentality is steadily eroding America's work ethic. Socialist ideologues welcome this erosion.

Refuse to support politicians (mostly if not all Democrats) who try to buy your vote by offering handouts from the federal treasury. Americans are not entitled to them.

What exactly makes a work ethic, Christian? I never know that work, hard work was religious.

Judeo-Christian, then...

There is no ‘Judeo-Christian’ tradition

That fabled tradition does not exist, nor does the “Judeo-Christian ethic.” Though sharing a common origin in the Hebrew Scriptures, the two faiths read the scriptural texts differently. They believe in God, but view Him through different lenses. They each have a story, but they are not the same. They each have a concept of man, but they are not the same. They are both ethical religions, but with separate ideas of man’s nature, salvation and destiny.

There is No "Judeo-Christianity"
There is no such thing as Judeo-Christianity. But there are groups of people who are deeply and violently dedicated to convincing you, and the world at large, that there is. And with this comes the death of Judaism and the death of Jewish people, so what must come first is the eradication of the terminology, “Judeo-Christian”.

"The “Judeo-Christian tradition” was one of 20th-century America’s greatest political inventions.

What Christian work ethic? I know a lot of lazy christians.

The "Christian work ethic" sucks...and eventually will be the death of civilization. Some people are just lousy at "work." They reduce productivity when they take up a job...humanity ends up with less because they work. Some of those unproductive people work and hurt productivity because they are forced to work...and some work because they want to work, but are incompetent or merely marginally competent.

We do not need anywhere near the number of human workers that now need jobs in order to live a reasonable life.

A much, much, much better way of handling things is to refuse to allow people to take up jobs unless they show great competence at the work they are attempting to get.

The rest of the people...those who are marginally competent (or worse) we can let starve and/or freeze to death...or we can do what intelligent, reasonable people would do...provide them with enough of the greatly increased productivity so that they can live a decent life without having to work.

Fat chance of that happening in a world that loves the bullshit Christian work ethic.

I think you're just talking work ethic...period...it's severely lacking these days...and that starts at home, carries over into schools... and then...voila...
Why won't parents be more responsible when raising their children? Schools try, but their hands are tied...
It's been that way for quite some time...When you enable people and allow them to do as they please, it's never going to change... If it takes 10 write-ups to let someone go, things are never going to change. If you "have" to pass a child who misses 25 days in a grading period, it's never going to change... If you pay someone to do nothing, it's never going to change....

What I advocate is not to "pay someone to do nothing." I am advocating for paying (providing for) them to do something very, very important to increase productivity...TO STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY. Essentially I would be asking them to become "stay out of the way" specialists...something they CAN be good at...and something which would allow them to be a part of increasing productivity.

Everyone is good at something...no positive, productive job performance, no money...no benefits...How do we convince people, employers, the government most of all.....to do that?;) If they checked their job "numbers", how many of those people who were counted as "new" jobs are still working at the end of the month?

Indeed.

Unless you are physically or mentally unable to work... if you don't work. you don't eat.

That was the work ethic of those who colonized this country.
