Princeton bans the word "man"

Ivy league used to signify intellegence
Meh...don't get me wrong...they are great schools but for a very long time the Ivy League Universities have signified inherited wealth, nepotism and intellectual inbreeding. This is nothing new. The Ivory towered bastions of academia have always been lambasted for being elitist by the largely unlettered proletariat. With some degree of justification. I find many academics to be as divorced from reality just as many of the proletariat are unwashed and unread.

Being a man, as well as very liberal, I have to agree with you that this kind of nonsense is idiotic. That being said, please put your big girl panties on, because your manhood is not being attacked. If this is a liberal 'War on Men', then you probably also think that the separation of church and state is a War on Christmas. Feminists feel that it is necessary to change the terminology that they feel subtlety, yet unequally reinforces gender preferences. They fail to realize that the term, man, can refer not only to gender, but is also shorthand for mankind, and thereby can connote even an individual. I don't particularly care to say personhole cover, instead of manhole cover, but hey, if they hate manholes, let them say asshole covers if it turns them on.

The rest of your diatribe... you gotta admit might be construed as a bit sexist, huh? Men built this world, yet your own mother didn't produce anything valuable? I wouldn't stick with that argument. It is sorta self-defeating.
Bravo....well stated sir.

That's probably an acceptable SJW answer. It would be interesting to have a country where acknowledgement of our founders is no longer acceptable.
we're getting there.
nitpicking and debasing their works because of personal failures of character ensures we minimize their great revolutionary ideas/deeds.

Well that would be wrong for sure but having said that it's just as ignorant to mythologize our founding fathers instead of trying to understand them for what they really were. Human beings with great skill and foresight and leadership abilities that also included incredible flaws and staggering hypocrisies. Makes them a hell of a lot more interesting. That's for sure.

God d*mn Millenials!

it's the crazed politically correct professors of my generation that teaches /facilitates that garbage.

A friend of mine is a conserve, with a niece in college. He warned her not to talk politics when there.
They can literally ruin your life. It's a weird brand of militant leftism that rules the campus these days.

College was always liberal, but always tolerant before now.

Tolerance can be learned, just as intolerance can..

The best I ever seen was in Brooklyn College back in the day & two groups (socialist/commie/Rasta wannabe's from various parts of the West Indies Vs some JDL wannieBe's).. The debates where great, but you aint seen POUTRAGE until you see the looks on faces when next week they have to switch positions.LMAO a good life lesson.... Debating Israel/Palestinian issues

everybody should have to be in another's shoes for a day. It teaches thinking beyond the superficial

Curry strikes me as somewhat of a nerd, who won't care if he looks a little off. It's not like media scrutiny has curbed his habit of chewing on the damn mouth guard!
