Nobody told me which policy caused inflation. Oil was given as one cause but in a year in which production is expected to reach a record high that is hardly causing a reduced supply; especially since oil has declined in price from $105.08 (7/22) to $74.12 (5/23) per barrel.

U. S. regulations are a far cry from government controlling what a company produces. Auto companies are choosing to produce electric vehicles much faster than any government mandates to do so.
They are obviously still drilling to be producing a record number of barrels. We are still energy independent and are a net exporter of energy.
