You are dealing with rightys who have their own reality. Obama was called the "deporter in chief" because he rounded up so many illegals and sent them home. Rightys claim he was for open borders. Obama actually signed a program fixing and repairing the existing fences and it was ongoing when Daffy got into office. Trump pointed to the fixing fences and called it building brand new walls.
You do not tell people in advance that you are going to round them up. They become a lot harder to find. This is like INS does when it notifies a company they are coming and for some reason do not find illegals working there that day. Just another Trump reality tv show.

Hopefully they won't act like the Democrats who still haven't admitted they lost and are now blaming it on the Russians. But, for both sides we will have to wait until the political consultants develop their messages to tell them how to act and what to say and then we will have to listen to that mantra repeated for years.

I remember it being pretty bad when Obama was reelected. And the Democrats weren't gloating a third as much.

I was dreading complaints from the right when Hillary won claiming Democrats cheated with illegal votes. While I was glad I didn't have to listen to that it was just as bad having to listen to the Democrats complain about losing, especially when they started blaming the Russians and pretending Republican voters are less educated than Democrats.

Some Republicans were mad at Romney, but most were busy having heart attacks over the Communist, Atheist, Muslim, dictator, anarchist, war-monger, pacifist getting reelected.
Democrats celebrated a little, then went to sleep, because they had work the next day. And it was the same thing went Trump won. Only one side has turned this into a blood sport. The other side cares about the country.

Trump would have 100% lost if he ran 4 years earlier. That was before Gamergate. And anyone could have beaten Hillary. Obama was an actual challenge.
