PRESIDENT TRUMP unveils "Trump accounts" program alongside a $6 billion dollar pledge from Michael and Susan Dell

Because his administration came up with them like Obama came up with the ACA commonly called Obama care. You think Obama personally benefited from Obama care?
Not quite right.

Obama always called the legislation the Affordable Care Act. Some people abbreviate it to ACA. It has been anything but.
Republicans and others that didn't like what the ACA did started referring to it as ObamaCare. The term was meant to be denigrating from the beginning.

Kind of what the press did to Howard Hughes and the "Spruce Goose" (the actual name of the aircraft is the Hercules).

Fortunately, most of ObamaCare has been detoothed, and the rest is collapsing from it's own weight. The damage has been done, however, and the cost of medical insurance is sky high as a result.

Yet another example of the failures of socialism.

Another photo op deflection

What does a frozen account of $1000 do now for a kid living in poverty? Without contributions, a $1000 account compounded annually with 7% interest would be worth $3,307 in 18 years, and what lower income family is going to prioritize contributing additional funds? Only entity seemingly making out is the market on taxpayers dime
Another trump publicity stunt.

Throws the poor a bone then basks in the glow of admiration from the idiots who were impressed by it.
