Well said. When I was new to the internets I thought that highlighting bad behaviour would help make it disappear. That was so naive. What you do is what I try to do, often without success. :D

It would have been hard to miss. It was repeated multiple times in maybe the most vitriolic and disgusting manner I've ever seen on a message board. I went so far as to ask that the poster be forced to ignore my posts so he couldn't respond with more disgusting, revolting remarks. Pretty sad.

They secretly cheer each other on. I thought it was funny that they thought I was PMing a bunch of people because that's what THEY do.

Without naming names.... I'm sure you can figure out who it was. Considers himself an economic genius, and when I batted him around like a pinata, he shifted his tactic to vicious personal insults. I immediately put him on ignore, but wanted to make sure he didn't continue the practice because I wouldn't have been able to see his posts. So I am on forced ignore with him. He seems to have disappeared though. Thought pretty highly of himself. He probably got pissed off when he couldn't see my posts, and left in a huff.
 
There's only one group that announces their PMs..and then shares what they've received...;)
