What about NBA, MBL, or basically any event where they play the anthem. Would you kneel regardless? Then would you go on with your regular life thinking you did something because of how you vote?
 
Amazing the big deal they make about it, it is a protest, recognize it as such, think about what they are trying to say and move on
 
Given the NFL is a private organization and so are the franchisees, sure, they can be fired, but what a stupid thing for the President to say. Leave that up to the owners to decide and stay out of it. Further , this comment is very unpresidential.

Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that sone of a b---- off the field right now. Out. He's fired. He's fired!'"

If the owners allow them to protest, STFU Trump.
 
I often attend events where the National Anthem is performed and there are prayers offered up to protect the participants. I tolerate both but rarely am I in agreement with the reasoning of either.

Trump should stay out if this stuff. But maybe he is just trying to improve their sagging ratings. I wonder if ESPN will take the bait?

I am sure Mika and Joe Underwood will be all over it
