We took this country from people who were native to this land.
It's a "not proud" part of our history. I'm proud to be an American, but I have no interest in sugarcoating that we marched in here w/ superior weaponry and slaughtered the people who lived here.

There was no international recognition of who “owned” any land in North America at that time.
If those stupid savages had any intelligence like Europeans or Asians they would have written laws with boundaries.
They didn’t even have a written language much less laws.
