Bush is responsible for HIS actions and always was.....responsibility is not the same as blame.....

Blame implies you did something wrong or against the law.....

As far as I know, Bush did everything he did by the book.....and whatever he did he is responsible for.....including invading Iraq and ousting Saddam......including sending troops to Afghanistan and Pakistan, fighting the Taliban and hunting for Bin Ladin....and he did it by requesting Congressional approval when that was required......
he did it with full co-operation from trusted allies.....Bush finally put teeth into the many unanimously passed UN resolutions against Saddam and satisfied the intent of the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, the resolution reiterated that it should be the policy of the United States to remove the Saddam Hussein regime and promote a democratic replacement.

That also includes the economic problems....he obviously didn't get the Congress to respond to his warnings, (these are warnings that you refuse to acknowledge exist)especially about Freddie and Fannies impending problems, etc.....not part of your re-written version of history .....this is not to say he is without fault in the
crash.....he certainly was an didn't have the foresight to see or take appropriate action to fight off the major disaster that was on the horizon....

Yup and that's the dishonesty of their argument. Almost all of the deficit spending on the current administration watch have been due to two bungled wars he inherited and a recession he inherited from that boob W.

Personally I think Obama has done well considering the shit hole he landed in due to right wingnut idiocy. He ended the immoral war in Iraq. He had Bin Ladin hunted down and killed (and I'm voting for him on just that one alone), we have and automobile industry thanks to him. If he had done what Republicans wanted unemployment would be around 12 to 15% instead of 8%.

The vision the Republicans have is a country being lead by short sighted and poorly educated knuckle draggers who want to spend money like drunken sailors on the millitary so they can go adventuring around the world killing brown people so they can advance their own personal economic interests and fuck everyone else cause they all know what's good for them is what's good for us and we should all just shut the fuck up, get in line, say "yes sir" then do what their told. A party whose vision is that ideology and party loyalty are vastly more important than this country or the people in it.

Personally, I like Romney. He's a succesful business man with a decent record of public service and unlike Bush he's competent but like Bush he's a patrician aristocrat born with a silver spoon in his mouth who consistantly shows little to no understanding of what life is like outside of the top 0.1%. Nor is he a self made man, just like Bush, It's always a lot easier to suceed in public life when Daddy war bucks can send you to prep school and Harvard and then Inherit a vast fortune in money and personal contacts. So though I do respect Romney's ability it's not like he's even in the league of a Clinton or Obama or Reagan who were all self made men. Romney has never shown that kind of ability but to be fair he's certainly not a complete fuck up like Bush was either.

This is what the rightwingers don't get and it may cost them the election to a very vulnerable Barry Obama. Romney isn't running against Obama. He's running against George W. Bush and the credibility gap and image he created for Republicans as being ideologically driven incompetents. If Romney can't affectively distance himself from the wingnuts he'll lose.
