President Biden's first speech since he formally announced his reelection bid Tuesday was to a friendly crowd as he addressed the North America's Building Trades Unions Legislative Conference at the Washington Hilton near the White House. Mr. Biden took the stage to chants of, "Let's go, Joe," and another chant of "four more years" broke out as he spoke and urged the crowd to let him "finish the job," his new campaign slogan.

“They’d rather see kids and seniors struggle with what they need, people on Medicare lose their health care, veterans lose access to doctors visits… than cut subsidies to Big Oil that made $200 billion and Big Pharma and the wealthiest corporations” Biden said, referring to the House Republican proposal that pairs a debt limit increase with government spending cuts.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities have been dispatched to the White House lawn after reports of a creepy old man shouting to people that he thinks of everyone's kids as his own.

"There's no such thing as someone else's child!" shouted the demented geriatric. "They're all mine! Not a joke! Give them to me!" He then reached out and tried to grab a passing baby out of his stroller before his mother shrieked and ran away.
"Your kids aren't yours! They're all mine! Lemme smell your kids!" the confused senior was heard shouting at a nearby statue of Andrew Jackson before several aides tackled him and dragged him to safety.

"You know, this guy is making a ton of sense," said Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers. "All kids should belong to the State and to suggest otherwise is white supremacy."

At publishing time, the deranged old man had claimed to be running for President of the United States.

For Brandon a "great" speech in any speech where he said fewer than 10 stupid things or mumbled less than 20 times. In other words a "great" speech for Brandon has a very low bar.

NEW YORK (AP) — Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont said Tuesday that he would forgo another presidential bid of his own and instead endorse President Joe Biden’s reelection.

The leading progressive, who was Biden’s chief rival in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, told The Associated Press that he would “do everything I can to see the president is reelected.”
