Do I look suitably impressed?

the first student commencement speaker at Wellesley College

Oooh...isn't Wellesley an all-girls liberal school renowned for leftist politics? And she faced that audience? Ohhhh, what courage! Golly!

earned a J.D. from Yale Law School in 1973

Oh, my! Was she like the firstest and onliest gal to ever do that? I bet that Bush fellow didn't have an Ivy League postgraduate degree! That'll show those darn M E N!

co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families

What are the achievements of Gandhi and Einstein next to this? A new day dawned that day!

the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation

And she didn't even have a politically-powerful M A N for a husband, I'll bet! What a gal!

the first female partner at Rose Law Firm

And she did it ALL BY HERSELF, not because she was married to a politically-powerful M A N!

The National Law Journal listed her in 1988 and 1991 as one of the hundred most influential lawyers in America.

Wowzers! That was like, just a few short decades ago!

led a task force that reformed Arkansas's education system

And today, thanks to her, Arkansas is known the world over as the bestest educated place on Earth!

played a leading role in advocating the creation of the State Children's Health Insurance Program, the Adoption and Safe Families Act, and the Foster Care Independence Act

A LEADING ROLE...why, I just think that's awesome. Are there lots and lots of monuments to her all over the country? I bet there are!

first female Senator from New York

And she only lived there for a few months before the party machine engineered her election! And her husband didn't help her at all!

in the 2008 Democratic presidential primaries, she won far more primaries and delegates than any other female candidate in American history

Yes, those doggone conservative women never won any! Clearly winning more primaries and delegates than the other gals before losing to a M A N is the hallmark of a great leader!

appointed Secretary of State.

By the M A N that beat her in the primary, as a sop...but never mind. It's not like those dirty ol' Republicans ever had a gal Secretary, so there!

visited more countries than any other Secretary of State

Wowie zowie! Did she get on that big 'ol plane all by herself? What daring! What dizzying heights of genius that must have taken!

encouraged empowerment of women everywhere, and used social media to communicate the U.S. message abroad

I understand the Libyans thought her act was just a RIOT!

Hillary Clinton has raised multiple millions of dollars on my street in SF. Have you done that Legion?

christifan, as a democrat and a woman I'm sure Hillary appeals to you. That aside from your political position do you like her? (I'm not asking if you would vote for her I'm just curious from a principle perspective.)

She got into Yale Law School without her daddy having been the Director of the CIA or her grandpappy having been a Senator.

Oh, and I suspect she could have gotten into Texas A&M.

Do these dubious distinctions count as accomplishments that qualify her for the Oval Office, Gerud?

A couple of years ago I read her memoir, Laura's memoir, and Palin's memoir, one right after the other. Hillary in her own words was a lot different from the way we see her portrayed in the media. She's very smart (which we know) devoted to family, a hard worker, has lots of friends and with a self-deprecating sense of humor. She showed a lot of vulnerability when talking about Bill and Chelsea. She wanted more children but couldn't get pregnant a second time. I thought she'd be a great person to hang out with, someone who'd keep you on your toes. Her persona was somewhat intimidating to me because of her brilliance.

As I said before, of the three I most identify with Laura Bush, the least, Palin.
