Well, I *have* seen headlines recently that said "4.8 million jobs created in May." Unfortunately they weren't really created. They were just ppl who already had jobs, that lost them because #COVID45 bungled the handling of the virus and the resultant nosedive of the economy. When their states reopened prematurely, they went back to work.

Sorry, but going back to a job you were furloughed from is not the same as being hired for a brand new position that did not exist until you stepped in to it. Obviously rehiring laid-off employees is a good thing for the employer, employee, and the economy as a whole. But to call that "job creation" is inaccurate.
Your desperation to defend the indefensible though is touching.

if you go on unemployment -furloughed or not- that is a job loss. It's how it's counted.

The source of the virus from China is China. They lied about the source and their number of fatalities. They would not share data with our health professionals that might have mitigated their virus from China. They nailed shut the doors of those with the virus from China They did not stop flights out of China and the virus from China spread around the world.
China must be held accountable for the hundreds of thousands of deaths and the economic loss around the world.

The president is following the advice of the health professionals and the states are opening their economies following the guidelines.

I agree. Tell that to capitalism, which exploits the natural human curiosity with the morbid. We could make laws regulating this, but have decided that would violate freedom of speech.
There has to be some happy medium between this and communism, where people are told what to think and not to think.
