Poll Shows Nearly Half Of Americans Agree With Trump About Charlottesville

Despite negative news coverage and criticism from his own party, a poll released Friday shows nearly half of Americans agree with President Donald Trump on the causes of violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.

President Trump has maintained that “both sides” were responsible for violence surrounding a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville. He also called out “troublemakers” among the counter protesters that came “with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats.”

Trump’s statements outraged former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who write Friday that Trump must apologize for his response.
However, a SurveyMonkey poll conducted Thursday found a combined 49 percent of American adults believe that both groups of protesters were “most responsible for the violence in Charlottesville.”

The poll found that 46 percent believe far-right groups were most responsible, 40 percent pointed the finger at both groups, and 9 percent believe counter-protesters were the most guilty.

The proof is in the pudding. In spite of liberal hysteria and mass media deep state lies and freakouts, what trumps said was ABSOLUTELY MAINSTREAM and common sense. This is agreed by half of americans, including 46% of independents.

Once the dust settles on this and the deep state media can't keep lying, americans will see and remember that they agreed with trump.

I'd probably answer as most did in a poll like this also. I still thought Trump's initial response, and then his "excuse me!" news conference revealed a man who is at best hopelessly clumsy w/ issues regarding race & xenophobia, and at worst legitimately afraid to offend what he sees as a passionate segment of his base.

And it stands in direct contrast to when he sees similar "many sides" situations where he's able to blame a Muslim, a lefty, someone from the media, etc.

Guess what? Americans saw what happened and side with Trump. Not little snowflakes like you who will bitch no matter what.

This isn't about Trump for many people. This is about a larger issue for many of us. But shitstains like you who only care about symbolism will never get that.

That is why you run around here Day after day begging Trump voters to abandon him. It isn't that we support him or oppose him and things that he says or how he says it. It is that for the firs time in a generation we see a vehicle for moving a real conservative agenda and we care about results. I dint vote for a moralizer in chief. The US Constitution says nothing about the President making you feel better after a tragedy. That you look for that says more about you and your weaknesses than it does Trump.

Trump didn't become a "racist" until he ran for President. I listen to butterflies like Romney, McShamnesty and the Bush cabal all lecture Trump about about trying to get along and I wonder if they remember how they were treated by you and your ilk. They all were called racists and women haters by you and your ilk at some point.

The globalists have taken back over the White House and Trump is surrounded. I am disappointed that Bannon was pushed out. But I won't give up the fight.

This is what baffles me. Trump was winning with Charlottesville. He managed to turned a PR disaster into something we could hit the democrats with. His line about what next washington and jefferson was perfect. Then he fires Bannon @____@
