Should every reaction bring positive points?

I'd like to dedicate a song to the woman who stinks up the forum the most, @ThatOwlWoman

The obsession continues apace...

Which of the MAGAts do you think cried to Damo so he would suggest this change? Some people must be pretty sad about their reaction scores.
Another example of a whiney lil' MAGAts who is complaining to Damocletus to save him from mean ol' Dutch. LOL

I think it is funny that Dutch Uncle follows me around the board just to frown my posts. I guess I hurt his feelings when I put him on ignore. He still can’t help begging for my attention. Poor soul.

Truly I don't care personally.

But changing the policy can go a long way to making this forum more civil.
I registered on this board in 2006, and I've seen no evidence that this place will ever become a civilized debate society.

You've got one group that worshipped George Dumbya Bush, worships 🙏Donald Trump, and worshipped both the Iraq and Iran wars.

The other group worships universal heath care, science, Medicare, and higher education.

There is just not going to be a congenial common ground or exchange.

You better reevaluate the people in your group and what they "worship"...

The way you categorize is biased and untrue.
If the board will never be civil because there are vile people on the board.
Me, I don't have to be vile. It's really not my nature, but I return in kind and will even best the vilest on the board.
Although in some cases that's hard to do.

Having registered on this board 20 years ago, I saw conservatives almost to a man, fiercely defend George Dumbya Bush, the Iraq War, the Iran War, and Donald Trump.

Conservatives hate government and governance, so they never had their own original policy ideas other than to cut taxes for the rich, deport brown people, and just be against whatever Democrats were doing.

The last time I saw conservatives get genuinely passionate about a policy concept was when they were hollering at me that invading Iraq was going to be an awesome idea.

It’s because there’s virtually no rules.

The other group worships universal heath care, science, Medicare, and higher education.
I don’t think worship is the right word but there’s a faction that advocates open borders, allowing violent criminals to run freely, sees racism everywhere and considers racial minorities to be too stupid and lazy to stand on their own merits.
There is just not going to be a congenial common ground or exchange.
That’s true for society as a whole.
