You tell me, here you are crying again about stuff that is nonsense and still off topic to the thread. How am I a victim, Damocletus? You make special rules for your friends, especially Legina, you make threats to ban me for porn, Rule 14, yada, yada, yada, yet I'm still here. How does that make me a victim?
The question is, should all the points count the same since they contribute to the goal of the site, which is for both sides of the political aisle to interact. It would change none of the interaction. Each time things change, you believe it is "because" of you, and that you are victimized by it. The only way you could possibly be "victimized" by this is if you think the points matter, that you would not have spent weeks and weeks neg repping old posts.. if you thought it might not subtract "points" from some random total...Why make a change at all except to cater to your MAGAt victims of bad ol' Dutch's neg repping?
Nobody is doing this "for" anybody, shoot I haven't decided anything on it at all, I just wondered what people thought...The fact remains you bend over backwards for them. Fine. All I'm asking for is that you admit you're a MAGAt and are using your powers to manipulate the forum in their favor. I respect honesty even when I disagree with it. I strongly dislike liars which is why I dislike people who use socks to attack others and bolster their own ideology.
What I will be doing "for" that particular thing, I have notably stated so before the migration to the new server, is creating the reaction ignore feature so that folks can simply choose to not get reaction notifications from specific posters... You get to give them "points", they get to get notifications only when they want them. It's a win-win....
This idea is something I thought about when I started with reputation points back in the day... Why should any be "negative" when the goal is interaction? So. I wondered if anyone else thought the same as I did. Should it matter that the reaction is a "barf" emoji? They'll know you didn't like the post regardless of what random value I give to them.
I can also make it so no points are given or taken. It would be a zero sum game, literally. However, I think the goal should be to reward those that bring the most board participation/interaction.
I'd also like to add, that once again, there is an actual thread for this conversation and this thread is not that one... And that it makes you look totally like you aren't whining when you cannot stick tot he subject of the thread but instead have to demand attention from the manager... Karen...
I may move these posts from this thread so it can get back on topic.
